Tests were done on Henner to verify such information as she claimed she could refer to any day and give details about it just as if it happened days ago. The star was able to recall dates of her buying shoes as well as what outfits were worn on what days.

Marilu Henner memory skill was featured on CBS 60 Minutes. She has what experts say a superior autobiographical memory. The 58-year-old Taxi actress can remember almost every day of her life as vividly and accurately as if it was yesterday.
Dr. James McGaugh, a professor of neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine, tested Henner and announced that she is the sixth person known to the scientific world to have the ability.
“They can do with their memories what you and I can do about yesterday … and they can do it every day. It could be a new chapter. …These people come and display a kind of memory we’ve never seen before, and we have to say, ‘Woo, what is that about?’ So we’re going to take a look and see if we can figure that out. And it could be very important.”
